Mom and dad went back to Vancouver last weekend. Grayson has to stay with Andrew's parents in the mornings. I got sick since last Sunday, and I am not still feel well today. So I still let Andrew sent Grayson to his parents house.
Well, time past so fast. It's almost April and Grayson is about 2 and half months old now. He grow up so much and I feel he is a big boy already. ( at least I feel it every time I hold him ). He is very cute and everyone who see him feel the same. Andrew and I really love him and feel grateful that we have him.

Sunny Day on March 17, 2010
Today is really great day with lots of sunshine. We took a walk after dinner. It was almost 7pm, but it's still light out. Grayson was still awake in the beginning, but soon fall in sleep as usual. It's really nice to have family of 3 walk. I am really enjoy it !!

5 weeks!!
5 weeks already or should I say "only"? Everyday seems very long for me since mom left last wed. (2/10/2010). I have to take care Grayson all by myself and also has to cook. It's really a new challenge for me. Yesterday was a nightmare for me. Grayson only slept for an hour when Iris was visiting, then he wake up and demand for the food for the rest of the day. I was so tired and didn't know how to claim Grayson down besides fed him. I was so tired.
But today I took a nap with Grayson, so he can sleep, and I could do something and cook dinner. Today is already 2/16, and I am going back to work on 3/1. I start to worry about that Grayson won't take the bottle before I go back to work. However, I really had no time and energy to pump for the past days. I really need to start to pump tomorrow. Otherwise, I have to delay to go back to work.
Even so many things that makes me feel tired, I feel so happy evertime when I see Grayson's smile. He only smile when he dream during the first couple weeks, but now he start to smile while he awake. I really enjoy it !!

Good sleep !!
I feel very happy this morning because I finally have a better sleep for the past two nights. From the article I read, baby eager to be feed every moment for the first three weeks, and I really feel that I went through that stage. Grayson now is about 4 weeks, and he can sleep longer at night.
This morning I don't feel tired at all because I only wake up twice last night and only feed Grayson about half hour each time. And today's weather is so nice and the sun already come out. So I decided to go do the geocery shopping this mornig. I feed Grayson before we left to make sure that we can finish the shopping. ( Last week we rush home because Grayson was crying, so we only make to the Geocery outlet. ) Grayson still slept when we got home, so we wake him up after we had a nice quiet lunch. My mom and I took Grayson to take a walk since the weather is so nice and so warm. And then we have a very nice afternoon.

The 3rd and 4th week !!
Soooo many things happened in the past 2 weeks.
On Jan. 31 night, Andrew and I took a walk after dinner ( Grayson was just fell in sleep and mom was there to watch him, so we finally got the chance to take the first walk after Grayson's birth ). On the way back, the neighbor's dog bark and ran toward us. Andrew said the same thing as usual : Don't be afraid, just walk streight !! So I did exactly what he told me. Well, the dog bite me on the left leg. Andrew called the police, and we went to emergency room after that. I was still shocked from what just happened, but all I worried the whole time when I was in the hospital is that what if Grayson wake up and want to eat and I still in the hospital. Anyway, Grayson was still sleep when we got home.
On Feb. 3, I tried to go to pediatric office to weight Grayson during their lunch hour. I took the nap in the morning and had a quick lunch and feed Grayson before we leave. It took my mom and I a while to figure out how to put the car seat into the base, and then we rush to the office. We made to there around 1:20pm, so the receptionist told me that I have only 5 mins. So we rush to the room and do all the work to get Grayson ready. Well, I felt so good when I saw the balance. Grayson weight 6 lbs 12 oz. Wow...he gained 1 lbs from the date he was born. He might still seen very small, but in my mind, he is a BIG boy already. I am soooo happy today.

1 Week old
The first couple days are so tough. Grayson eat and sleep at lot. When I say eat a lot, not talking about big 3 meals a day, but have a meal around every 2 hours. I used to have a very good night sleep everyday, but I have to be up all night long to feed Grayson, so I was completely exhausted for the first week. But on Grayson's first Well Child appt. on 1/18/2010, Grayson's weight was 5.12 lbs ( the second day after birth was 5.08 lbs becuase the loss of water ), I was very happy because I know that My hard work had been paid off.
Grayson looks very happy after each feed.
